– 4 large eggs – 1 cup milk (whole or 2%) – 1/2 cup heavy cream – Salt and pepper to taste – 1 cup grated cheese (such as cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyere) – 1/2 cup diced cooked ham, bacon, or sautéed vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, onions, etc.)

– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 3-4 tablespoons ice-cold water
